Luz Granier Bulnes holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Chile, majoring in Economics.
In addition to leading Desarrollo País (Fondo de Infraestructura S.A.) in her role as Board Chair, she currently serves as director of Grupo Saesa and is a member of the Board of Universidad Andres Bello.
She was Undersecretary of Social Services during the first administration of former President Sebastián Piñera, in addition to serving as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Mining and Energy.
Early in her career she worked for more than 10 years at AES Gener and she was has also, among others, member of boards in the Mining and Energy sectors, locally and abroad. In recognition of her outstanding career, she has been twice named to the Top 100 list of Female Leaders by newspaper El Mercurio in 2010 and 2012.
